Jason Young, EI

Forensic Animator / Engineering Associate

Jason Young’s career at DELTA [v] began as a part-time draftsman in 2006. As the engineering workload increased, Jason became a full-time employee and began exploring various digital media techniques. He has become DELTA [v]’s resident digital media expert with experience in animation, photogrammetry, and video analysis.

His recent interest and focus has been Computer Vision. This technique involves understanding how camera sensors interact with the world around us and then configuring that knowledge into numerical measurements. Jason is anxious to apply these principles to traditional accident reconstruction techniques.

He is currently working on obtaining his Master’s Degree in this area. Jason looks forward to acquiring his Professional Engineer license. An ideal day off for Jason would be spent enjoying the company of his family, preferably with no plans.
