Photogrammetry is an accident reconstruction technique that is more common when the physical evidence is no longer available.   The method correlates photographs taken at the time of a collision and survey measurements taken during DELTA [v]’s fieldwork.  With the use of calibrated camera equipment, DELTA [v] can essentially insert the original physical evidence.  Our experts then use the regenerated collision scene to complete their analysis.

Best Used In:

  • Cases where the roadway evidence is no longer available
  • Projects with good scene photographs
